Game Day Recap: RCRD vs. Blue Ridge Doubleheader

The Riot smashed their way into a victorious win against the Y'Allstars with a score of 220 to 103. Our River Rats fought hard, and the game was neck and neck, but the Retrogrades came out on top with the win. Thank you Blue Ridge for hosting such fun and nail-biting bouts!

Game Day Recap: RCRD vs. Charlotte Doubleheader
With back-to-back weekends of games, both travel teams then faced their toughest opponents yet, Charlotte Roller Derby’s A and B teams. The Riot skaters came out swinging, but Charlotte’s A team was able to hit the ball out of the park with a solid win of 202 to 73. It was then the Rats’ turn, and although the Rats bared their claws, Charlotte’s B team won 243 to 120. But it isn’t all about the W - those scores helped both of our teams move up in the WFTDA rankings! All the teams loved playing each other and hoped for a rematch in the future.
